Technology has become such a large part of our lives, can you even imagine getting by without it? Communication such as emails, social media, texting apps, games, yes games (when was the last time you played solitaire with a real deck of cards? lol), letters and spreadsheets for accounting or the many other ways a spreadsheet can help you.
You go online now to look up directions (maps.google.com), check your bank balance, watch videos, listen to music, all your shopping needs, and reading books. Much of this you do, not from your computer, but from your smartphone!
I am not thankful for Everything that technology has provided to us, but for most of it, yes. Whether you love it or hate it, we all rely on it and for much of what it has done, we should be thankful. My own family lives in every direction, so staying in touch whether via facebook, calling, texting, sending photos….for this I am thankful. My business also relies on technology. I would have a hard time conducting business (fixing computers, developing websites, providing support to my clients) without technology. Therefore, in the spirit of the season, I want to say yes, I am thankful. For technology.
Advances in technology have improved our lives.
